This is my new guitar:
a special edition Lite Ash stratocaster.

Natural ash body, birdseye-maple V-neck, Seymour Duncan alnico pro-pickups.

I play the intro to ‘Under the bridge’ and the solo from ‘Nothing else matters’.
My first ever try at making a YouTube-video: I was concentrating more on the camera than on my playing…
It’s a bit sloppy, I’ll upload more decent stuff soon.

Played through a Marshall Valvestate 40V, effects from Boss’ ME-50.

http://www.fillmorepedal.com Here is some old, slow electric blues I call Wailing Blues and this one does get the wailing guitar sound. I am playing the 1978 Ibanez Musician guitar through the Clarity Pro 2 preamp (on all the guitar and bass parts in fact). This is a one of a kind pedal I built for my own use. The amplifier is a 1973 Peavey theClassic.

I wrote the song and play all the parts myself except the drums!

Love goddesses are Nonami Takizawa and Yukie Kawamura.

I’ve got that Sugarcane Harris thing going on at the end too haha. I wonder how many of you know who he is though.

Tempo is 60 beats per minute.

Recorded on the Yahama AW1600 professional audio workstation.

BEFORE you pick a winner – READ THIS : I truly think this video, althought a shoot-out is less about winning and loosing. The truth is, there are soooo many renditions of a Plexi circuit, it’s almost unfair to say which is better. Here’s the message : Finally, there’s a Plexi that’s affordable, versus the $2k and over alternatives. Plus – I BET there will be lots of mods that will surface on the net, making this a uva amp! This is probably as baseline as an amp gets – which is super flexible. It can run clean, it can run cranked, it has the FX loop, so you can use your multiFX to tap into the power section. You can blend channels, or you can do the old fashioned ‘drive it hard, right in the front’, w/ your favorite OD pedal.
