  • The Fender American Stratocaster Electric Guitar is a Fender icon. Yep, even the Lefty. Juicy upgrades include a richer, deeper neck tint for a more elegant and expensive appearance. Glossed neck front for improved looks with satin back for smooth playability. Bent steel Fender saddles with classic look and great tone. String spacing narrowed for modern playability, saddle height screws re-sized to reduce rough feel, and string slot on saddle elongated to reduce string friction or breakage. Copper Infused Cast Strat® Bridge Block (steel with copper- 100% metal) for increased mass and improved tone. This Strat features the original headstock shape but has staggered machine heads losing one string tree and improving string angle over the nut. Custom staggered pickup magnets improve string-to-string balance and give the G-string better tone. Cosmetics include parchment/black/parchment pickguard and parchment pickup covers, knobs, and tips. The return of the American Standard Series Strat continues Fender's tradition of commitment to the people who play Fender instruments out there in the real world. Today's American Standard Stratocaster guitars are worthy heirs of their revered ancestors-mindful of player needs and taking full advantage of modern advances, yet remaining completely true to the elements and spirit that made these instruments legendary in the first place. Improvements include redesigned bridges, neck and body finishes, and a Fender-exclusive high-tech molded case. Still there are the beloved hand-rolled fingerboard edges, alnico V pickups and staggered tuning machines for tone and stability guaranteed to last a lifetime (with its limited lifetime warranty)! So make history with the redesigned American Standard!Redesigned American Standard Strat® Bridge Gives sought-after tone with modern smooth trem travel. Block retains the mass and tone of a vintage bridge block, but is chamfered for access to deeper dives. Saddles have the classic look and tone, but with modern improvements (spacing, slot elongation, height screw length).Bridge Component Specifics American Standard' saddles- The original vintage-style Fender bent steel adjustable saddle is one of the components that give vintage Fenders their tonal mojo'. Fender conducted tone comparison tests, and fell in love with them all over again. They have a wider tonal range and more character many other saddles. Then Fender improved them; narrowing the spacing to afford more room (and complement the bigger frets and rolled edges), and also elongated the string slot to reduce friction and string breakage, while improving the string break angle over the primary contact point. Tone-fusion' block- A typical cast bridge block is impregnated with a resin to eliminate voids' in the material and to bond it together this steel block is infused with copper, which makes the block 100% homogeneous metal. The result is a more musical, higher mass bridge that has more of

  • The C Tech V2 Pocket Rockit Headphone Amplifier captures the tonal heritage of 50 years of guitar amp design. It combines analog and digital signal processing to reproduce classic tube amp tones. A proprietary DSP engine provides awesome digital effects such as reverb, delay, chorus, and flange, while an analog front end generates classic amp emulation tones. You don't even need a cable. Like all Pocket Rockit products, the V2 plugs directly into any guitar. Just plug it in, put on your headphones and you're ready to rock 'n' roll. You can even play along with your favorite CD. Best of all, the V2 sounds better than many full-blown amplifiers. The C Tech V2's amp emulation circuitry models vintage and current classics. The Clean amp button scrolls through 3 clean or slightly over-driven tones. The Dirty amp button scrolls through 3 gnarly, positively nasty high-gain selections. Sounds reminiscent of classic Fender, Marshall, Soldano and other amps are at your fingertips. This headphone amp has 2 independent DSP effect banks: a delay bank with straight delay, flange, and chorus: and a reverb bank that includes arena reverb, small-hall reverb, and an echo effect. Use any effect independently, or use one from each bank simultaneously.A digital tuner features audible low-E, A, D, G, B and high-E notes. Tri-colored LED indicates flat, sharp, or in tune. It's a perfect tool for improving your ear. A built-in click track/metronome has a naturally- sampled snare drum hit - there's no annoying buzz or tone. Squier Classic Vibe Duosonic – Nevada Music UK

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/Guitars/Electric-Guitars/Electric-Guitars/sc1437/p7142.aspx The Classic Vibe Duo-Sonic 50s has received a grown-up make-over whilst still retaining the classic Fender vibe. This model was originally conceived as an entry-level guitar designed to capture the market of America’s 1950’s rock n roll youth. However the Duo-Sonic went on to have a much wider appeal and became a sought-after model among collectors, musicians and Fender fans.

Squiers newly re-released Classic Vibe Duo-Sonic 50s has been given a Desert Sand finish on a Basswood body, with a 24-scale Gloss Maple neck with 21 medium-jumbo frets and a latter day 9.5 fingerboard radius. The sound comes courtesy of two Alnico V single-coil pickups and these are managed via a three-way selector switch for bright, clear classic Fender tones.

The Desert Sand finish is elegantly complemented by the Metallic Gold Scratch Plate and the Cream Pick-up covers, whilst the bridge, master volume and master tone knobs and the pick-up selector switch are all finished in Chrome. The Maple fret board uses inlaid dots as fret board orientation, the classic Fender bullet-type truss rod adjustment is utilised along with chrome die-cast machine heads …
