Monkey Lord visits Marshall Amps – Class 5 & JVM210H

Class 5 JVM210. I was invited down to Marshall to check out some of there new amps! I was blown away by the fantastic new gear and liked them so much that I am officially now a Marshall artist ;-)

It’s great to be working with a company that is positive, friendly and professional. And lastly I can now confirm that I will be shooting my next DVD with Marshall:

Shred-ucation

With Rob Chappers from Monkey Lord
Featuring Eddie Kramer How to record electric guitar

This will feature loads of new Marshall Amps, the Eddie Kramer section will be shot in LA while I am at the NAMM show.

Gibson Les Paul Clean – Cornell Journeyman

Hi, this is another clip of the cornell journeyman clean through the open back 1×12 65 amps cab (celestion gold). I’ve only had the gold 2 days but its starting to warm up now with playing. I hope it comes through in the clip – the amp has the most glorious deep, shimmering, resonating, room filling, surround sound clean of any amp I’ve every played…including vintage vox and fender amps, dr z, divided by 13 etc. The clip starts with quite a thin sound in the middle position (hint of out of phase) and then moves to the neck. The reverb is on 3. I think the tone of this amp is stunning, so I hope it comes through in the clip for you to hear. I hope you enjoy it and thanks alot for watching!!
