The "Ice Man's" '66 Custom Tele is faithfully reproduced by the Fender Custom Shop. Ash body has white binding on top and back. Rich tone of a humbucker in the neck position combined with a vintage bridge pickup produce the distinctive Collins sound. Natural finish only.

The Rory Gallagher Stratocaster guitar is an exact representation of the Irish blues singer/songwriter's personal Strat. Features 3 custom wound '60s single-coil pickups, aged chrome hardware, 21 jumbo frets and a bone nut. Fender takes time to create extra detail during the Relic process to replicate Gallagher's extremely worn 3-color sunburst alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. They've even gone so far as to include 5 Sperzel tuners and one Gotoh tuner; as well as replacing the twelfth dot marker with white plastic instead of the original clay. Fender includes a case with the Rory Gallagher Signature Electric Guitar.

Every aspect of the Custom Shop 1967 Time Machine Relic Telecaster's construction is faithful to the original model on which it is based. Custom Shop crafted with a 2-piece premium ash body with a maple "C" neck and Nadagascar rosewood fingerboard, it is armed with a pair of Vintage pickups that are wired with a modern circuit. Vintage style Tele bridge and Schaller tuning machines along with a 3-ply parchment pickguard all echo the original production model.

Made in USA by Fender's Custom Shop to look as if it's had the heck played out of it, although it is perfect in setup, tonality, and playability.

You feel like you've traveled decades back in time when you pick up the '66 Strat Closet Classic. This Custom Shop creation is an exact reproduction of the original, made using the same tools and techniques, and precisely duplicating the original specs: the nitrocellulose lacquer over urethane finish, the large headstock with the '66 logo style, and even the original's wing string tree. It sports vintage tuners, the F neck plate, and the C neck shape of the period. Even the pickups are exact duplicates of the '66 versions. Select alder body, maple neck, and maple fretboard. It has been given the Relic treatment to look like a guitar that has become worn from years of gigs. Includes a black hardshell deluxe case, strap, and cable.
