The 1968 Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar includes a carve maple top, chambered mahogany body, lavish white/black body binding, single-piece mahogany neck with rounded profile, and a long tenon neck joint. The bound ebony fretboard has 22 frets and pearl block inlays. The Headstock has a classic split diamond headstock inlay. Hardware and electronics include a pair of ’57 Classic humbuckers, dual volume & tone controls, 3-way pickup switching, ABR-1 bridge, stopbar tailpiece, “kidney bean” tuners, and of course a Gibson Custom Shop case.
