I own the AS100D …
I own the AS100D and it’s a great amp (but it weighs 46lbs). I like the built in effects and putting a soundhole plug (feedback buster) on my guitar really helps. The thing I like about this guy is that he clearly shows that there are people out there that are actually stupider than I am. This review is helpless. I gotta give him credit for trying though.

A rather useless …
A rather useless review….He doesn’t talk about speaker config. And just because you don’t use features like mic input, chorus, and reverb doesn’t mean they suck. I have a Genz Benz acoustic amp which I love, but just wanted to hear what this amp sounds like…and this guy’s playing, or lack thereof, didn’t demonstrate how it really sounds.

Marshalls don’t deserve this kind of disrespect, especially from holes like this who don’t know what they’re talking about, let alone have one good thing to say about it. I found one on eBay for $250 and MusiciansFriend for $390.

I agree. I just found that he was 100% down on this amp right from the start… does he even say one nice thing about it? It is a Marshall after all, it can’t be that bad! Also, he says it costs $550 in the beginning, then later on he says it’s $385! Which is it?

I can’t stand his sarcasim either, i wish he would show us what the amp can do rather than tell us some features “suck”. Dan Agosto would do a better review for this.

He is way too …
He is way too sarcastic and not funny at all. He dismisses every single function because he doesn’t personally use them. I don’t even know what he can do with an acoustic guitar… all he shows is a few simple chords and some terrible strumming. When he tries to turn the volume up he inadvertently turns it down… this guy is useless and so is his review!

First of all, this guy is a terrible reviewer, and his playing sounds like . Look if you’re going to review an item, review all the aspects of the amp, don’t just skip over things like the mic channel because you don’t “like it” or just don’t know how to use it.

I own a Marshall AS50D and I gig it regularly. The two channels allow me and a bandmate to use it simultaneously. It takes mandolin, guitar, banjo and ukulele and makes them all sound kick-ass. It’s a great amp.
The anti-feedback measures are comprehensive and effective – when the owner knows how to use them.
The reviewer is a loser who is just not up to the job.
If you’re considering an AS50D, I so go for it with all the confidence you’d have in any Marshall. Great kit!
