If you shield the …
If you shield the cavety properly, it should be extremely quiet. Remember, you hear noise at all volumes. If this Strat was noisy, you’d hear it. I completely shielded the insides with copper tape. It’s not magic but it works like it.

Have you played it …
Have you played it loud with the distortion? I’m starting to make a dg setup, and I kinda want the fs-1 (the wall tone), but its not a stacked single so I dont know how much noise there would be in the sound. So im kinda stuck between this and the duncan ssl-5 like he uses now.
